What are the playing division levels? Effective in 2006, USA Little League baseball changed the age determination date for youth baseball organizations across the country from July 31 to April 30. These rules apply to Little League, Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth baseball and other national organizations. Central Amherst follows the change to April 30 consistent with how the July 31 date was historically applied to divisional levels. The players age level will be determined by their age as of April 30, 2010. For example, a player turning 9 years old on May 1, 2010 will be considered an eight year old.
