Sports Management Intern Wanted

Central Amherst Little League is seeking a highly dependable and motivated intern for the 2025 season. Located in Amherst, NY, Central Amherst Little League has been a family friendly little league serving the Amherst community since 1955.

The Central Amherst Little League intern will be responsible for:

• ·       Support of game day logistics, serve as the director on duty
• ·       Customer service to Central Amherst Little League families
• ·       Communication with Board of Directors
• ·       Assist with umpire scheduling and monitoring
• ·       Assist in field preparation

Requirements:

• ·       Applicant should be enrolled an undergraduate or graduate degree in sports management, business, or related field
• ·       Excellent work ethic
• ·       Creative problem solver
• ·       Kind and courteous demeanor
• ·       Knowledge of baseball
• ·       Valid driver's license
• ·       Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• ·       Frequent bending, stooping and lifting
• ·       Availability in May and June, Mondays-Friday evenings and Saturdays 
• ·       Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain

Compensation:

• ·       Stipend
• ·       Free meal provided each day worked
